Bridy's Butter Tarts from Night Owl Quilting

This pretty quilt is Bridy's take on the Highway 10 Designs Butter Tarts pattern. Bridy made it her own by making all of the centre star portions of the block out of the same fabric. It is always fun to see how someone uses their own creativity with your pattern to make something unique.

The fabrics Bridy selected are from the Camellia line by Melody Miller for Ruby Star Society. Bridy asked for a fun thread choice and we opted for my favorite gold Magnifico Thread 2063 Clover Honey and the Curly Q pantograph.

Butter Tarts in Olive You from Night Owl Quilting

This wonderful quilt was made as a store sample by Megan for Keystone Modern Creative. The pattern is the last release from Highway 10 Designs and is called Butter Tarts. This is a great Fat Quarter friendly pattern that goes together with no HSTs!

The fabric collection used in this quilt is called Olive You by Zen Chic for Moda. Kits are still available from Keystone Modern Creative.

Megan chose the Terrace Pantograph and I think it looks amazing on the rich green cuddle backing.

My Halloween Butter Tarts from Night Owl Quilting

I am so happy that I was able to to finish this Halloween quilt before the big day! I had a Fat Quarter bundle of the Spooky n Sweeter Collection from Art Gallery Fabrics waiting for the right project for a couple of years. Trying to come up with an interesting way to use them was actually how the Butter Tarts pattern for Highway 10 Designs came to be.

Flannel Butter Tarts from Night Owl Quilting

Reneta made this great flannel version of the new Highway 10 Designs pattern called Butter Tarts. When Reneta heard we were working on a new pattern she was eager to give it a try. She had bought a flannel quilt kit with a pattern that was okay but not exciting her. There were 12 Fat Quarters and enough fabric for borders and backing so she was off to the races.

Reneta chose one of the newer pantographs in my collection called Cinnamon Swirl. It really adds some great texture to this cozy flannel quilt.

Butter Tarts - New From Highway 10 Designs from Night Owl Quilting

Kathy and I are excited to announce the new Butter Tarts pattern from our shared venture Highway 10 Designs. It has been more than 2 years since we last had an idea we were excited enough to work up into a pattern. We are so excited that we are having a sale - more on that later.

The Butter Tarts pattern is Fat Quarter friendly and includes 6 sizes ranging from Baby to Queen. One of the best parts of the pattern is that there are no HSTs or Flying Geese to make, so no trimming!
